Best Aluminum Van Side Step Running Boards | Made in Europe

In most van's that I have used, I needed a side step to get up into the van. When I purchased my first 4x4 van, it was so high I had to jump in and out of it. As soon as I got it home I start shopping for van running boards.
I found that many van side step running boards run between $1k and $2k. I wasn't really looking for anything crazy, just a nice step that won't rust and tucks up nicely to the van's body. I don't like van steps that draw attention to themĀ and I want them to be low key.
I finally came across Romik. They make high quality rugged van steps for the work van industry. European made, these steps aren't too big and they fit nice and tight to the body of the van. They are aluminum so I don't have to worry about rust or the paint chipping off. For around $600, these are by far the best van steps for the money.
A deal breaker for me is traction. I need a van running board that will still have traction against my boot in the snow and mud. These step perform flawlessly and provide tons of traction.
I installed them myself which took a few hours in the drive way.
They came in one box and everything is neatly organized.
The instructions are clear about which bracket goes on the driver and passenger side.
The passenger side sliding door uses the same bracket for all 3 positions.
Once you pop out the rubber grommets, you slide the nut into the hole and bolt the big bracket right up to it.
On my Mercedes Sprinter van, I needed to drill two holes per bracket to support the step. On the Ford Transit, it is a no-drill application.
Once I had the brackets bolted on, I bolted the van step onto them and adjusted the height.
It was really that simple and my family loves them. I am really happy with how they turned out.
