Medium Deluxe Waxed Canvas Bushcraft Ground Cloth (Various Colors)

This medium size deluxe waxed canvas ground cloth is the perfect piece of kit for your bushcraft adventures. It is made of 10.1 oz waxed canvas and highly water resistant. It stands up well against wet and dirty ground.  This ground cloth was designed to go on the ground so you can rest your backpack and have a place to kneel or sit that is dry. It comes in a variety of colors and features four eyelets for hanging, crating a log hauler, or even making a bushcraft chair.  It is also looped on the shorter ends to pass paracord or small branches through.  It is also has hundreds of other uses.  We use it for:

Kneeling on the ground while getting the fire started
Food prep
Protection for your blanket roll
Rain cover
And many more uses

This is our medium size deluxe ground cover.  It is approximately 31" wide by 22" long.

Canvas colors available:  Coyote Tan, Oak, Charcoal, Slate, Olive, Pine, Black, Field Tan , and Buckskin

If you do not see a color in stock, just let us know and we will make one for you.  Turnaround time is approximately one week for a custom ground cloth.
Martexin Original Wax uses an exclusive Martexin® finish,  which makes it technically superior to other waxed cotton fabrics in performance, longevity, and dryness of hand. Martexin Original Wax is an environmentally friendly blend of food and pharmaceutical grade waxes, and is completely non-hazardous.  This unique formula gives the fabric lifelong resistance to inclement weather and as the fabric ages, it develops a well-worn and comfortable patina.  The patina develops with more and more use, in the same manner that leather ages and burnishes with time.

Martexin Original Wax is a highly specialized textile that precludes normal cleaning. Just as you wouldn't wash a leather product such as shoes, gloves, or jackets, you won?t be able to wash or dry clean your Martexin Original Wax. Wax fabrics have been successfully used for many years without washing.  A periodic cleaning with a hose, damp cloth is all that is needed.  Bare areas can be refinished with our Martexin Original Wax refinishing compound which can help restore the wax finish.

Each ground cloth is designed, created, and assembled in our small shop in colorful Colorado, USA.  Every item is handcrafted and no two are exactly alike but all are made with great care and craftsmanship to last you a lifetime.  Slight imperfections are part of the charm.  This is a great item that will be passed down for generations.
